‘1st and 10’ went to the hotline to talk to Josh Klingler radio host from 6-10a on 610 Sports Radio KCSP in Kansas City. He thinks Kansas City will be 3-3 with Alex Smith leaving the team last season. Josh spoke on Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes thinks Kansas City offense can be best in NFL. Patrick Mahomes, who has taken over for Smith as the starting quarterback, will now have the responsibility of building upon that success this season. And with so many weapons at his disposal, Mahomes believes the Chiefs’ offense is capable of rising all the way to the top this year. Josh thinks if you doesn’t turn the ball over than and with all the offensive pieces around him. Josh touched on Travis Kelce might be the best tight end in the league not named Rob Gronkowski. Meanwhile, the wide receiver duo of Sammy Watkins and Tyreek Hill has the potential to simply blow opposing secondaries away with their blistering speed. Of course, much of the Chiefs’ success will still hinge upon Mahomes’ ability to execute Andy Reid’s system competently in his first year as a starter and get all those playmakers the ball. But if he is able to tap into his undoubted potential right away, the Chiefs could very well have the best offense in the league when it’s all said and done.
