Plenty of sports teams use a cannon to enhance the in-game experience. You'll see this a lot in college football. The home teams scores and the ROTC kids fire off a round. The Buccaneers have cannons on their pirate ship, mascots fire t-shirt cannons into crowds, and players from QBs to outfielders have been known to have cannon arms. Cannons are as much a part of sports as balls, pucks, and rackets. This guy shouldn't have been that surprised right?
