Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith is making it known he wants to be traded. He confirmed the news when asked by a reporter on Thursday. Smith is no longer in the plans for the struggling Cavaliers, who are just 1-and-7. The team fired head coach Tyronn Lue earlier this week and All-Star forward Kevin Love is out indefinitely with a toe injury. The Cavs are rebuilding following the departure of LeBron James. Smith said they have made it clear he's not in their future plans. There is a chance Smith could be fined for his public trade request, which is not allowed under the collective bargaining agreement. He has two years remaining on a four-year, $57,000,000 contract.
